Would you assume that a track titled ‘Party People 2k15’ is a massive, anthemic big room song? If so, Ralvero’s rework of his 2009 debut single, ‘Party People’ will completely throw you for a loop. When listening to the original version, you will notice a lot of similarities, however, the original’s drop was more jungle-like and hard hitting. While the 2015 version has elements of that ‘big room’ sound, it is in fact a majestic and groovy, progressive house masterpiece. It features an infectious, yet euphoric buildup and then leads into an unexpected, groovy drop with piercing synths. The chord progressions in this song are some of the best you’ll ever hear. Since ‘Party People 2k15’ smoothly builds energy it is a great intro or mid-set track for many DJ performances across the world so keep your ear out when you’re dancing away at the clubs!
As you can see, the Dutch native known as Ralvero has been around the dance music community for several years. The former Spinnin’ imprint, Sneakerz MUZIK, picked up ‘Party People’ in 2009 and Ralvero has been releasing music on Spinnin’ labels ever since. He started out his career making groovy house and tech house tunes. His music progressively evolved into a bigger, electro house sound, which you could really tell from his original ‘Impact’ in 2011. From there he has had several releases on Bingo Players’ Hysteria Records, Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, and Showtek’s Skink Records. Unlike a lot of producers, Ralvero has released a lot of music on his own… solo projects… not collaborations. His latest solo release ‘Generation’ on Skink Records in October, is quickly approaching 1 million plays. Ralvero has had a pretty packed release schedule the last few months and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
