Breathe Carolina teams up with Angelika Vee for progressive tune ‘Ruins’

New kids on the block Breathe Carolina are back with yet another beautiful original, ‘Ruins’ featuring a top-line from the LA-based singer/songwriter Angelika Vee. This progressive house masterpiece evokes a range of emotions. The breakdown features a peaceful piano segment and leads into a strong, melodic kick in the buildup and drop. ‘Ruins’ incorporates those sweet pop vocals we all love and tempting hooks, which proves that it will rock club and festival sets across the nation.

Breathe Carolina have had a meteoric rise to fame in the dance music industry within the last year. While they started out 2015 releasing remixes and originals for free, they were soon picked up by the likes of Armada, Enhanced Recordings and Spinnin’ Records. Their first song on a Spinnin’ imprint, ‘Hero’ was released via Oxygen and followed up with ‘More Than Ever’, a collaboration with NY-based up-and-comer Ryos. ‘More Than Ever’ amassed over 2 million plays on YouTube and Soundcloud. Not to mention they’ve been performing at some of the biggest festivals including Ultra Miami and EDC Las Vegas. This trio is preparing for a huge year in 2016.

As a singer/songwriter, it’s harder to gain traction in dance music, but LA-based Angelika Vee has proven her worth over the last two years. Scoring collaborations with Morgan Page, Ferry Corsten, Paris Blohm, and Kap Slap it’s no secret that Angelika is paving the way for other singer/songwriters. Not only does she have the ability to hit any high note, but she also has an extremely unique and euphoric voice. Keep a lookout because Angelika will be making even more strides in 2016.
