The former hip-hop and house dancer said “I was always fascinated by music and dance since childhood. Dance was the catalyst, that sparked my understanding of how to make people move.” The formula seemed to work as Sifa continued building his DJ career.
It didn’t take long for Sifa to start spinning alongside top names such as Armand Van Helden, Boddhi Satva, Copyright, Rainer Truby and Aaron Ross to name a few. Venues like Noxx,(BE) Culture Club(BE), Sett(BE), Peopl(CA), Fluid Bar (UK), Stereo Six(BE) were packed as the Belgian gained notoriety.
His musical sets take people on a profound magical trip, inspiring the crowd to feel his vision. That success is also why he was chosen as an official fashion DJ for BCBG, MAXAZARIA, Debora Velasquez, and Ethno Tendence catwalk shows. Playing at concept stores soon followed.
Sifa’s career got busier as the radio platforms began noticing. He’s been the featured guest for QHRadio, Radio FG (FR) and his « The Good Life » podcast can be found online twice on month on Motion.fm.
Now residing in Montreal (CA), Yves Sifa is working as the Digital & Social Media Coordinator for Offering Recordings (based in Belgium), which is headed by Ancestral Soul producer Boddhi Satva.
