Production
Youri started building his own studio in 2003 and a couple of years later he remixed a unofficial mix of Erick-E’s ‘Boogie Down’. This record and other ones soon got major support from famous DJs like Erick-E, Roog, Funkerman and Fedde le Grand. Soon after that, he joined 1management and this really took his career to another level. Sneakerz Muzik dropped his first official release ‘That Chicago Song’ and ‘Freak Until You’ with a remix of Erick-E in 2007 and turned it into a big hit. Nowadays, his releases and remixes [‘Buy this record’, ‘This is Different’, ‘Bounce for me’, ‘Pleasant Experience’, Baggi Begovic- ‘Break of Dawn’ (Youri Donatz Remix), Josh The Funky 1 & Harrison Crump- ‘Konstruction’ (Youri Donatz Remix), Ron Carroll- ‘Walking down the street’ (Youri Donatz Remix) and more] are being supported by: Eddie Thoneick, Dj Rooster, Freemaisons, Jason Herd, Tall Paul, David Penn, Tom de Neef, Gregor Salto, Patrick le Funk, Funkerman, Wez Clarke, Roman Curtis, Dave Lambert, Fabio Tosti, Baggi Begovic, Saeed Younan and many more Djs and producers.

In 2009, his stuff really took off: ‘I like this sound’ was signed to Fedde Le Grand’s Blackbird and his more soulful tracks are being released by Peppermint Jam and Tempogroove. Besides that, Oliver Twizt en Youri Donatz compiled a brand new Sneakerz CD and toured around the Netherlands. He also did loads of releases and remixes with Sneakerz Muzik! And watch out, because more projects are coming in 2010! Like Fedde le Grand ft Mr V- ‘Back n Forth’ (Youri Donatz en Franky Rizardo Remix), Shermanology- ‘The Weather’(Youri Donatz en Franky Rizardo Remix) both on Flamingo Recordings. And a new bomb on Blackbird en EP on Sneakerz MUZIK and SMKSTFF!!
