Robbie developed an intrest in music as a youngster growing up in the south of Holland. Before House music became a passion. He played the guitare and a bit bass, drums and piano. With his electric guitare he went to the preparatory consvertorium. Interests changed at the age of 17 and he discovered a new passion as a crowdhyper.
Everything started in 2008 at a club in Eindhoven. Where he MC’d together with the dutch DJ La Fuente. In that same time another dutch DJ Ben Bastion and Robbie started a new house concept named “Housetrippers”. With now a residency at his own concept. Other organizations starting to notice his talent to support a DJ and taking a party to a higher level.
In the years that followed he played at venues and festivals MC’ing together with artists like: Felix da Housecat, Avicii, Sidney Samson, Afrojack, Lucien Foort, Hardwell and so on.
In 2012 he changed his name from MC Licious to Robbie Rise. And now he can be booked as MC as well as DJ. With lyrical skills and an energizing voice Robbie Rise can rise a party up to be sure that your venue’ s floor becomes a dancefloor.
