At a young age Dutchman Rutger Carl Baumer was a big music lover. In the 90’s he started to listen to house music. Not long after that he began to produce dance music. In 2006 his hard work paid off. He got his first release with his long time friend Marchand. 2 EP’s where released under the name “LCD Project”. After that he started to focus on producing Funky/Elektro house.
Carl Tricks is seriously hot at the moment: He worked together with the Bingo Players and Chocolate Puma on the track “Touch Me” and, more recently remixed the Bingo’s hit single “Devotion”.
In 2009 he signed with Sneakerz Muzik and did remixes for Lucien Foort, Prok & Fitch, Melvin Reese, Sunnery James & Ryan Marchiano, Nadia Ali, Kid Massive, Deepside Deejays and Lockjam to name but a few. His own debut double a-side single ‘Alive’ ft Dan’thony / ‘Get This’ created a buzz and reached the Top 3 in the Dance Tunes charts. The Carl Tricks remix for the Lucien Foort feat. I-Fan track, “Stand Up For Love”, has been creating quite a buzz too, with positive feedback from the likes of Jeroenski, Plastik Funk and David Vendetta.
No less than four of his current remixes appear on the Sneakerz Muzik Winter Sessions album of which he mixed and compiled CD2. This CD also includes his new single “On Me” ( Featuring Dadz ‘N’ Effect), released by Sneakerz MUZIK.
With more Carl Tricks tracks and remixes in the near future, he’s more than ready to conquer the clubs with his energetic and uplifting sounds!
